Full-bodied with a great structure, this wine stands out for its volume and silky mouth-feel. It is complex, boasting smooth, well-rounded tannins that give way to a staggeringly long and lingering finish.

Bright, dark red with ruby tones. More leafy on the nose than the Reserva Cabernet, showing darker cassis and blackberry aromas with complicating notes of menthol and licorice. Fine-grained but a bit youthfully clenched, with an element of saline minerality accentuating the wine's somewhat austere character. In a rather cool style, offering little in the way of easy sweetness.
